      Hi Doug,

Your man Lüneburg served on U-35.

There is a site for that Uboat.
      http://www.u-35.com/

      <TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=3><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>Lüneburg, <TD vAlign=top>Richard-Friedrich <TD vAlign=top><TD vAlign=top><TD vAlign=top><TD vAlign=top></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

And much - much more on that uboat, her crew, warpatrols, victims etc............

        Hi Bernd,

Otto Kretschmer was in another camp than your man.

Otto was POW in Canada Camp 30 ( Camp Bowmanville).

          Doug,

I don't think any of my POW postcards have been ID'd to Otto Kretschmer. I do have various postcards of German POW Camps in Canada so I will do a search on whether I have any of Camp 30. Bill

Eric-Jan : I also had posted a photo of an KM Officer on this forum under " KM Officer photo " on 3-16 and I thought he might have served on an U-boat , since the photo was taken in Bayonne, France ,south of La Rochelle, that was a big U-boat base . Please take a look . Thanks , Bernd .
