Date 20th April, Hitler's birthday is a common date for the awarding of the KvKII w/swords.

Unit seems to be FliegerHorst Kompanie Jever, probably the airfield it serviced.

I'm no expert in Luftgau but according to http://www.ww2.dk/ground/hq/lg11.htm Luftgau Kommando XI was renamed Luftgau Kommando IV. This makes me suspect its authenticity but i am sure the experten will soon make a comment.

        Hope this maybe of use

The Komm.Gen.u.Befefehlshaber im Luftgau XI on that date was General der Flieger Ludwig Wolff, but this doesn't matter as it was signed "i.V." by some else. For a low-level award like this, it was probably signed by an Adjutant or Ordonnanz-Offizier in the rank of Oblt. or Hptm.

The other data on the award all checks out. Fliegerhorst Jever was an important fighter base not far from Hamburg where Luftgaukdo. XI was located.
