Hello:
The 1944/45 Rangliste des Deutschen Heeres lists an Obstlt. Loewe (Umlaut o) with date of rank 1.Dec.1943 with peacetime affiliation given as Pz.Abt. 65. Knights Cross as Hptm. and commander of 3/Pz/Abt.65 with date of 4.Sep.1940.
You are probably aware that this officer was promoted after his death which occurred on 23.Dec.1943 and received the Oakleaves with date of 8.Feb.1944

Hello T.:
The only information I can come up with , is his appointment to command I./Pz.Rgt. 11 after being promoted to the rank of major. So an exact date I cannot furnish.
