Hi guys,
When I came home tonight, I found an envelope in the mail with the following photo. I could not resist to purchase this lovely picture from Josef Priller (JG26). I assume this one is privately taken as to the best of my knowledge, I haven't seen this photo before. I was a little hesitant to buy at first, since the reverse is plain (no handwriting, no stamps, no photo maker marks).
Yet, I try to find the name of the young pilot in the background. His face seems familiar to me, but I can't apply a name. I tried the photographic book from JG26 by Donald Caldwell, but no result (or maybe I turned the pages too fast ).
Can someone give me a helping hand, please?
Thanks,
Laurens
