      This letter going from Lausanne/Svitzerland to England was opened (and controlled) by German and by British censorship and it happened in April 1944.

        Hi Nick,

        The interesting part of your Swiss envelope is that it is double censored.

        I thought that there was a direct airmail route from Switzerland to England during the war, and I have no idea why the envelope was censored by the german authorities.

          Thx for your comments but I was aware of what it was, I yust wanted to share it with you.

          The letter says the weather is fine and it doesn't mention the war...
