    Ss Ahnentafel

Hi Folks. I Just Wanted To Show You Something I Picked Up In Germany Many Years Ago. I Think It Was At One Of The Many Fleamarkets I Went To, While Stationed There. Shown Are 2 Versions Of SS Ahnentafel As Evidenced By The Different Style Runes. If I Read This Correctly, Its For A Man Named Sauer. One Is Dated 1937, And One Is Dated 1941.

Anybody Have Any Info On The Man? I Am Not Selling These, But As I Haven't Seen Any Before, Anyone Estimate Their Value?

Thanks For Looking And Your Comments In Advance.

    Jeff

            Hi Jeff

the owner of the Ahnenpass came from Eppelheim, a town close to the famous Heidelberg.

In the recent German phonebook you will find 13 entries SAUER in Eppelheim.

For all members of the SS or all German civil servants during the period 1933 -

1945 it was absoltely indispensable to have a Ahnenpass.

Only by that you could proof that you did not have any jews in your ancesters line.
