I have many photos I like because of the "cool" artillery pieces or awsome looking soldiers, but I'll post my favorite sort of peaceful photos. This one is an artillery crew, but I like the fun way they sit with an accordian and such. A good one to have.



Here is an other favorite of mine. It features the RKT Oberst der Reserve Albert Graf von der Goltz from the 3rd Gebirgs. Division. The brave man died near Odessa near the end of the war, but this photo shows the gentle side in which he is not condescending to the suppordinate soldier, but instead friendly with him. He is seen lighting the cig. of a MG 42 gunner.



My third and final pick is from a veteran from Grossdeutschland that I visit and talk to frequently. He is one of my best friends and this last photo is one of him in his panzer wrap playing with a dog.

Nice photos!!

I only knew a German veteran of the FLAK (where I recieved the Knürschuhe from). It's interesting to here the stories of them.

Now In know a Brittish veteran who landed on Sword Beach.
