Forman's Third Reich Guides

Hello All...

Does anyone offer a view on the Forman Guides? Im a relative Newbie and want books!!! I have come across these and they look great!

at 40 pounds a copy, i want it to be a good investment!

With the advent of research forums like this one, it almost seems that such books are obsolete. Pretty pictures but can you trust the information, unless it comes from an expert who has been vetted by other serious collectors?

I don't know what you are interested in, but several more recent books are much better than these ones.
