This photo album was given to me several years ago by one of my fellow SF buddies. It originally belonged to his brother. My understanding is it's similar to a cigarette photo book. Here are a few photos.

Hi Dan,
very nice example.
But only similar to cigarette books - pictures for cigarette books
came separated from the album - in this case the postcard sized
pics were already clued in.
To my knowledge 4 books were published - 1939 until 1942.
Market price approx. USD 750 per volume.

Thank you for the information. I wasn't sure how many years these kind of albums may have been offerred, or much of anything else about them for that matter.
You are correct; it appears that the album came with the photos already glued in, and the pages are each separated with tissue-like paper. A number photos exhibit fading spots but overall the book is in pretty good condition.
