Paper Items belonging to FJ

Hello,

I have posted recently in the FJ forum a nice Wehrpass that belonged to a FJ who died at Monte Cassino (http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru....php?t=264691). I was asking what some of the extra documents and paper items I found tucked in the back. Could any of you help me please?

Hi Rob,

Your first link shows a marriage certificate.
The second link shows three items: the first one (up top) I'm not familiar with. The three stubs (bottom left) are receipts for bank deposits and the third (bottom right) is an official note which accompanied the Wehrpass when it was returned to his family. I've heard that after a soldier's death, his Wehrpass was proof-of-identity and enabled his family to take care of his financial matters.

Thank you Jason, this has helped me greatly. I look forward to see what people think about the first (top) item in the last photo. It is a very long strip of paper which I could not scan completly but what you see is most of it.

The strip above is a wage strip (payment).

The three small items on the left are transfer remittances - two of them from

the cashier of the German airfield Stendahl.

Gerdan, I was thinking that it might be a wage slip or something similiar as well. Thank you for clearing that up.
