help identify location...war crimes

I'm looking to see if anyone can recognize these buildings seen in the horizon and the one up close. I have reason to believe they could be in Poland and are the site of German war crimes. I do not have access to better photos.

That's going to be really difficult. We're talking 65-70 years ago in a country (Poland) where war crimes occurred almost daily and that was so heavily damaged that those buildings may not have been there after 1945. Have you tried this web site?

It has more WW II European war crimes activity than any other site I know of and there are a number of Poles who visit there daily.
