        Adr,

No problem! Just be aware that there are usually more than one portrait made of the soldier and very possible some others may have the very same portrait.

I believe we both exchanged some information.....the portrait I have was in the possession of his parents and he apparently was posted to the Fuehrer Hauptquartiere (Hitlers headquarters) "Wolfsschanze" (Wolfs Lair) in Rastenburg in 1944. Hitler left the bunkers of Wolfsschanze on 20 November 1944 for Berlin and they were blown up in mid March 1945 to prevent them from falling into Russian hands.

Send me a PM and I will provide you with my email address so you can send some scans of his Soldbuch.

        Thanks and Happy Holidays!

        Bill

Great photos Bill! I didn't review all 39 pages of this thread, but I was wondering if you had any portraits late HG members wearing Feldgrau M43 tunics with Luft eagles, no collar tabs, and with HG cufftitles.

            Willi,

Thanks.....I I seem to recall some photos with tunics. luftwaffe eagle but army collar insignia and cufftitles. I will check my archives and see what I have.
