Child soldiers (?)

Hello everybody,
I got this photo showing some pretty young soldiers. Unfortunately I do not know when it was taken... It was sold as a child soldier photo taken in the last days or months of the war. But what about those boys wearing early (36?) uniforms? Any idea?

these youngsters are possible from the preparatory army schools established on 1.april 1940, at the same time a cuffband, green with silver lettering was introduced (Unteroffiziersvorschule)
