Very nice and interesting pictures!

The building you see on picture 4 and 6 was the old clubhouse of the Arnheim soccerclub Vitesse. On this building you can see the advertisement "Gazelle Rijwielen (bikes) Steven Gerlach". In this building lived some Arnhem refugies (1944), because there was a possibility that there houses could be bomed. In 1944 Vitesse wasn't aloud to play soccer anymore and the Germans and later the Canadians used the fields for military exercise. Two days after the liberation of Arnhem on the 16 april 1945, the clubhouse burned down.

hello friends

my friend , he was there as ustuf. in the rgt. westland . i will ask him . my idea is . he must speak on a tape , and tell me over his time in div. wiking and rgt. westland .

he is woundet in september 44 . he was in this time ustuf. and ordonance officer by Karl Maria Demelhuber . one or two day's after Market Garden Offensive he was woundet . now , this moment as he was woundet is write in the book ' Brücke von Arnheim' or Market Garden . he was shootet from a sniper . the ball hit in his hals . he was in a schwimmwagen . he drived with extremly secret documents about the operation Market Garden to the SS Oberkommando in Holland .
