EKII award document opinion?

the signature is of General der Infanterie Walter Schroth, the then commander of Wehrkries IV.

I always thought the signature looked a bit funny as for the rest of the award looked authentic to me.

I suppose his signature should look like this.

Looks OK to me...also is it a facsimile signature? This is not that uncommon for high ranking officers from Wehrkreis Reserve!

It is normal for high ranking officers to sign EK documents and the majority of the time they are Ritterkreuzträger (RKT) or holder of the Deutsches Kreuz.

I suppose it is more rare for an EK document not to signed by a General...Oberst and lower for example!

Who signed the document is now reflected in the price as a few years ago no one ever looked at the signatures!!!
