HAve a look on this eBay auction. I think this might be a good document as far as poor photos can be a valuable tool to make a definitive opinion.

This is an early bestowal date. Ruge was the 38th KM recipient to be awarded the KC. He was at a time member of Rommel's staff for navy matters in France. He ended the war as Chef d. Amtes in OKM.
