    Himmler Inspects Volunteer Division

This must've been enthralling for him. You can tell from his face, he's like the cat that found the cream.

Here he is inspecting a flak unit, 08 Dec 43. Photo taken by SS War Photographer Ege. Photo A5 in size.

    Rgds,

    Beuchars

Good point Phil. If we can comment so readily on his questionable items, we should be able to comment on his good ones.

This is a great photo and from what the back says Gebirgs. too!

          Phil,
With all due respect, you weren't on the receiving end of his unwarranted insults.
          Max.

Nico, I do share your feeling but it is not a good practice to post the same message three times to pull up these now almost useless threads.

Recently I feel that this forum suffers from "too many threads" syndrome and I really don't have good solution. But at least please do not "pull up" useless threads, thank you.

i'm very sorry and it wasn't my intention to put them up again, but I find it very childish of the poster to remove these pics.
Just because his "christmass card" wasn't what he hoped to be.
If everybody should react this way when a fake piece of their collection is being discovered, the forum would be dead, I guess.

                  Best regards,

Rest assured, Nico. We can't prevent mentally-immature members from joining the forum, but we have a lot of mature collectors here, so our forum is more die hard than you may think!

I second Nico C. What gets my goat is the immaturity of the person removing the pictures he originally posted after he gets unfavorable reviews? Can't see any of the pics of Himmler inspecting, OK perhaps a technical glitch. But when I cannot see any of the pics of his Hitler to Keitel Xmas card either...

I wonder if his age exceeds his number of posts?

Or perhaps the photos don't work on imageshack sometimes? Do not be so quick to judge these sort of things.

Sorry mate, but when somebody removes their images and replaces them with the words "yawn" and "yawn again" as in the other (Xmas card) thread, I think that's a pretty good indication it's not a technical fault, don't you?
                          Regards,
                          Max.

I did not see the other thread with this happening. I thought you meant this thread, where, for me the photos are gone (in a fashion usually would happen in case imageshack.us deleted the pics etc.)

I understand now what you're saying.

Please stop continuing this kind of "discussion".

You have to keep in mind that sharing images - especially in the areas of photos and documents - might not be so easy than you may think, due to collection's nature. At least the guy once decided to share his images. So many do not, just watching others share. Due to one reason or another, he decided to remove the images. I had watched his behaviour and I do think it is a bit immature, but for a guy who is not used to this kind of forum, it might have been a natural consequence. Please stop insisting as if his photo removal is a crime (though I have to stress that such behaviour practically ruins poster's life in forums) and you have the inherent right to see the images.

There are so many great contributers in this forum, please stop nitpicking a few who cannot continue being one.

                              This thread is closed.
