Prague Castle Photos?

Hello everyone:

I have a very nice cased Sudetenland Medal, complete with the Prague Castle Bar. Since I added this to my collection, I've been interested to see some wartime photos of the Prague Castle. So, do any of you photo collectors out there happen to have a period photo of the Prague Castle? I'd like to see it. Although the image on the spange looks impressive, it's still a little too small to see with any detail, of course.

Also, if anyone knows the actual name of this castle, that would also be helpful. So far, I've only found it to be called the Prague Castle, but I'm sure it has some other name too. Or, maybe it is just called the Prague Castle.

Hi Chris,

as the Prague castle is situated on the mountain Hradschin sometimes it is

also called Hradschin.

Other names I do not know. Try to google Hradschin.

Hradcany Castle covers a vast area overlooking the Vlatava. It has sometimes been described as a town within a town. If you Google image Hradcany or Hradschin, you will find plenty of images.
The most famous view is that of the castle from the east bank of the Vlatava or alternatively, the most photographed part of the castle is the main courtyard in front of the Matthias Gate.
