The one in the first photo is probably a Luftnachrichten-Flugmeldehelferin with the Fernschreiber Klass B specialty badge. So these young ladies probably worked in a Flugmeldeleitstelle, Jägerleitstelle, or a Funkmeßstelle in the coastal area along the Channel during 1942-44. But other interpretations are certainly open for consideration.
