Swastika plane formation photo!

Hi there. I've just received a curious photo from what it seems to be an air exhibition in the III Reich. The airplanes make an swastika in the air. I post it because it's not a commonly seen image. Really impressive how that symbol was present almost everywhere!

day the army (pre war year, dont remember which one) they had planes flying over like that, in swastika form, caught on newsreel.
What a sight to see !

This actually was a fairly common event for special days and parade flyovers etc. Those look like He 51s or Arado 62s so it dates most likely to the mid to late 30's. I have another photo in a German book of a flyover dated 30 April 1939.

That's better. I have about 26,000 hours of flying time and flew competition aerobatics for 24 years and have judged competitions for three decades. I could tell at a glance.

The planes look like bi-planes...bi-planes? Does that mean they
are "switch hitters?"
