KVK doc HELP

Greetings all,

What is your take on this doc? Personaly I don't like it. It comes in a group of 3 and 2 of these 3 do not indicate the unit the soldier served in. The third doc for Krimschild lists him as serving in Armeekraftfahrpark 689 Gruppe Fuhrer. All 3 docs look kind if fishy. THX

The other 2. Check out the frozen meat doc. ..no info on the unit. Krim doc...never seen any issued to Armeekraftfahrpark 689 Gruppe Fuhrer.

It's quite normal to not have a unit on an Ostfront doc.

Perhaps it is so, but there are still too many questionable aspects to this group. I think I’ll let this one go. Thanks your opinion, everyone.

Actually, the stamp looks quite legible, if you could just get a little better picture. The lower half looks like it says "Streifenabteilung", and about 1/2 of the top is readable at this resolution...."Kdr. d. Str. ....../XII" looks like to me.

Manstein's signature is always a facsimile on the Krimschild citation. You do get an adjutant's signature on them also but not see if it is this style? Try searching the forum for other examples..........

As Simon pointed out it is quite normal not to have a unit on a Ostmedaille citation. Can you provide a clearer image of the stamp on this citation?

I do not see any problems initially with them.......
