DAF Books.

Hello all,

I wonder if anyone on the forum could tell me how percentages of salary were worked out on DAF membership books?
I have several; and mostly the contribution stamps are for 80pfg. which would (I believe) be the contribution of a worker on "minimum wage".
However, I have a DAF book where the employee paid over 3 Reichmark per month which would make the owner of this book a high earner.
Can anyone enlighten me on this obscure point?

DAF dues are based on income. 80 pfg is for up to 60 DM a month. Some others are 2.20 for up to 160 DM per month, 3.80 for up to 260 DM per month, 9.00 for up to 600 DM per month and so on.
