Just recieved this postcard, nice shot of a PAK crew. Thing is i cant make out what it says on the stamp. I thik its Ergungsgruppe (S) 1 Langendienbach. The latter must be the place where this unit was based but i have no idea what the former is, or even if i've interpeted it correctly.

The Ergänzungsgruppe (S 1) was a glider unit.

Hi Jonathan,

the glider unit Ergänzunggruppe S 1 was placed on the Langendiebach

(situated east of Frankfurt/Main) a/f in the period from april 1941 - 1942.

They used glider from the type DFS 230.
