Hi,

The photo below shows one Otto Friedrich of the 5th Kompanie, 19th Infantry Regiment. It was taken in the town of Waldkirche though I can't make out the name of the photographer. I'd like to know what rank this soldat was and what sort of awards he's wearing. I think he's a Gefreiter, but I'm not sure as I think I can see the edge of a lozange or pip in his rank patch that might make him a higher rank. I'll also post the back of the photo so if someone could translate the writing, I'd appreciate it.

Hmm I may have somehow cut off part of the photo as I can't see the lozange or pip that I mentioned in the first post. However, when I hold the photo itself and look at, the lozange or pip is fairly clear.
