What's happening in this photo?

All the Fords are German, or at least European made- not Aussie or Brit as they had split windscreens and different mouldings on the doors/ cab.

Great pics though and fantastic & interesting to see an "elite" unit using Fords rather than the Opel Blitz, which is always touted as the archetypal wehrmacht truck! Go the Fords!!!!!
