    Hoffmann/Rohr/Verlags of Jagd fliers!

    Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I collect wartime signed Hoffmann cards of fighter aces as well as Rohr and verlag Film cards. I have around 60 currently including some wartime private signed studio portraits. I am keen to find Hartmann, Kittel and Barkhorn on Hoffmann in particular. I will attach a few examples for your enjoyment from time to time. Some are extremely rare. Does anyone else share my interest out there?

I'm afraid you'll have to become an A-member ($25 a year) before posting any photo...

          Hi Stevie,
Welcome to the forum. I collect the Knights Cross postcards of FILM-FOTO-VERLAG and have for over twenty years. The chase is great fun! Good luck with your hobby!

            Thanks Dick,

If you have any for trade amongst Luftwaffe Jagdgeschwader aces, let me know? I've been collecting for about 4 years now, enjoy the chase also!Steve

Here we go, an example from my collection...Heinrich (Prince) Zu Sayn- Wittgenstein, Night Fighter pilot of Kommandeur NJG2 and NJG7. He was KIA 21 Jan 1944 believed to be by an RAF Mosquito Nightfighter after downing four heavy bombers that night taking his score to 84, second only to Schnaufer. His crew bailed out but he was thrown clear of the crash but died of injuries. Knights Cross with Oakleaves. Awarded Swords posthumously. Rare signed Hoffman example of the second highest Nightfighter Ace of the war.

I don't collect them but I do have many with impeccable provenance for trade.

Here is one of the most impressive fighter pilots imo.

Very nice. I have Baer on Hoffman but surname only. Don't by any chance have this one for sale do you? I have it as a signed press photo, but not this wartime signed Hoffmann, which I missed out on.

                        Hello Stevie

My colecting interests now mainly centre collecting RKT signatures, in particular Waffen-SS and Luftwaffe, although I do have examples from all branches of the Wehrmacht and collect war-time and post-war examples.

I have around 60 war-time signed pieces, although not all on Hoffmann Rohr of Munin Film Verlag cards it must be said.

Although I do keep a healthy folder full of trade pieces, unfortunatly I do not have any of the examples you seek.

Good luck with your interest and from my own collection I will post a Munin Film Verlag card war-time signed by Brillantentrager Adolf Galland.

                        Regards Richrd.

Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

                          Thanks Richard,

Funnily enough I have this one in my collection too. A favourite of mine in fact. Best image of Galland produced imho.

                          Steve
