    King Vittorio Emanuel III

Not sure about the Luftwaffe General, but the Italian is King Vittorio Emanuel III.

    Best wishes,

        Hello
Regarding the LW general : he might be a General d. Flieger (or under). I don't exactly remember the LW collar patches system but if my memory serves me, I believe that the collar patches for Generaloberst and GFM had a large LW eagle whose the wings go beyond the collar patch itself.
Am I right ? Let me know since this fact might narrow (or broaden) the scope of the research.
If so, this officer wouldn't be Milch who was awarded the KC as Generaloberst. Another point is the ribbon bar : the one shown on the photo is smaller than the usual one worn by Milch.
It is also worth noting that the German general wears seemingly a badge on his right breast (Deutsche Kreuz, Spanien Kreuz, foreign order ?)
        Regards
        Denis

The German also appears to be wearing Italian pilot's wings above his ribbon bar.

            Loerzer

Although his PLM is not readily apparent in this photograph this appears to be the then commanding General of the II. Fliegerkorps, General der Flieger (later Generaloberst Bruno Loerzer). II. Fliegerkorps was based in the Mediterranean Theatre during 1942/43 under Loerzer's command.

              Milch

              Hello all,

Looks like Milch to me as well, though I could be wrong.

There are similarities between the two photos (except for Milch's more bulbous nose)- but it's Bruno Loerzer in the first photo, no doubt about it.

And Milch was a recipient of the Golden Party Badge, which the General in the first photo does not wear.

                      photo

                      Hello,

Can you post a portrait or image that will show that it is not Milch please. I am not saying your wrong, but at least prove your theory.

Loerzer was, from 25.10.1939 to 22.02.1943, Kommandierender General of II.Fliegerkorps, based in Sicily and mainland Italy from 04.12.1941 to 12.1943. That’s not absolute confirmation, but it serves to explain why Loerzer would be in the company of these high-ranking Italians. Of course, Milch could easily have visited Italy and probably did. But the problem is, it just doesn’t look like the bulging-eyed, bulbous-nosed Generalfeldmarschall.

The best evidence is that this is clearly a post-1940 image- all indications, including the geography (very Sicilian-looking background) point to the photo having been taken in the Mediterranean region. I’d say this photo dates from anywhere between December 1941 and February 1943 (when Loerzer was promoted Generaloberst). The man in the photo wears General der Flieger insignia. Erhard Milch was promoted to Generalfeldmarschall on 19 July 1940, before the Luftwaffe began basing units in Sicily.

And Milch tended to wear his Golden Party Badge, placing it above his 1939 EK I Spange.
