Thats a very nice group you have Jürg,
Particularly the large DK citation and its format...I had originally thought they ceased issuing the large size January 1944.

me too

this kind of award doc at this date is very rare not only because of the format but also because of the form. In books it is said that only until end of 1942 such a form with the printed name and unit was handed out.

1942 is definatlely wrong...I have seen them well into 1943 but off the top of my head can not remember how many for January 1944......
A friend of mine will be pleased to see this as he has looked into when this style of document ceased to exist....I will have a word with him tomorrow.
I do like the way it is stamped with his name etc. this is different to those normally encountered.
Incidentally I personally do not have any large Heer DK Urkunde dated after October 1942, all those I do have after this date are the "Vorläufiges Besitzzeugnis".

I love it, I see you have all documents except Sudetenland one. I like also that the clerck used place names on the EKs and Sturmabzeichen citations. Do you have something more? Photos? Soldbuch?
Truly a very nice and rare group.
Angel
Why not mineLooking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

Collectors always want more, but this group is a killer one, I don't think to much DKiG awards at that time in the war were done with the big citation. Show us more from your collection, I see the FJ group and this and I belive you have more treasures hidden in your room.

other stuff
Hi Angel
well I think this Dk-Groups as well as the LL-Sturm-Rgt group over in Fallschirmjäger Forum are my best groups so far.
I have another Pz DK-Group from a guy of Pz Rgt 36. He also got the cuffbands Afrika and Kurland as well as the silver tank badge for 50 engagements but all those citations are missing. So is the DK citation but anyway a nice group which includes some nice photos whcih the guy has taken. I scan those and show it here.
All my other award docs are more or less common. I have a nice one rom a Panzer grenadier and one from heavy tank hunter bataillon 662. I see what I have and show it here.
I also own a FJ award group from a guy who was first in a Flak bataillon.
By the way thanks for your nice comment on this group.
