Gunbunny, the eagle on my grandfather's 43 field cap is not a metal adler, it's the usual one...

Here are some more portraits.

#s 1 and 2: Two earlier portraits of my grandmother's brother. The first one is postcard size, the other one is a larger, framed picture...

#s 3 and 4: His younger brother, who survived the war and died in the 1980s as a result of the injuries he had suffered during the war. As I never got to know him I am not quite sure if was awarded the wound badge after one or several wounds... (don't even know if it's silver or gold, but I guess it's silver)...

#5: The youngest of the three brothers. He survived the war, too, died before I was born... So no information on him except the fact that he looks a bit funny
