I have been digging out bits and pieces and along with the photos I found this propaganda leaflet that was dropped by the Allies to try and convince the Germans to "give up"

I think it says "what do you see before you"

but am off to get a translation

Although I can't help on the translation, I can point out that this was dropped on the Western Front.

That is leaflet ZG.113, a tactical leaflet for German troops produced by the Psychological Warfare Division of SHAEF.

It was printed in England by the presses of the Illustrated London News.

Twelve million copies of it were dropped between 22 Feb 45 to 4 April 45.
