Wehrmacht photo's 1939-40

Hi everyone,

I've just put up a photo gallery of World War 2 german army scenes. These came from relatives who unfortunately didn't survive the war. Most are of training camp scenes & some of the invasion of France. I think they show an interesting perspective on everyday life in the army at the time.

i have since found out that some of the photos are from service in the Reichsarbeitsdienst - note the parade scenes where the men carry spades instead of rifles!

Excellent production! I was visitor #76 and enjoyed the music as much as the photos.

One modest suggestion: is there any way you can rig up time expiration bar for it? Visitors don't know how much time is left, get antsy, and leave before it ends. To know that it runs 4 minutes or 6 minutes or whatever would remove the time anxiety and allow visitors to plan accordingly.

point taken Larry, i have added a note to the page to give an idea of the length of the show, that way people will know what to expect. It didn't occur to me so thanks for pointing that out.

the music is the Alte Kameraden march, but i expect you already knew that.
