war time picts of jets etc question

heres a question! im thinking of trying to get a picture of as many types of german aircrafts, props and jets, and it got me thinking! just how rare are war time pics of say me262s me163s he162s or other high tec(at the time) aircraft!were there strict rules that the airman couldnt take pics of there aircradft as at the time there were pretty advanced???and sure if you DO have any pics of them please do show as the only ones iv seen were post wars of a me262 with GIs infront of it and one of a me262 after just taking off(you could just see it in the distance!)

I would imagine that the press/photo rules that apply now would have applied back then ie: press to get shots of the first three songs of the artist and then have to leave the building. As for the guys working the airfield/labs I'm sure they did take as many photo's as they wanted but without offical apprioval and no publishing rights.

Lots of GIs and CW vets took photos of Jets. Usually smashed up and on the ground.

You will see many shots of 262 in GI albums as they over-ran most of the places where they were based.

In CW vets albums you will see fewer 262 and more of the rarer jet types he162s as thees were in the areas they over-ran.

You might want to take that tack on it.

i was thinkibng more of war time conditions! because during war time (44) wouldnt the ground crews and pilots not be aloud to take pics of secret aircraft! i would love to get a war time pic of a 262 1963 and 162! but im pretty sure there even rarer then a tiger pic!!!

There are thousands and thousands of wartime photos of Me 262s and the twin-engine Ar 232s, and hundreds of hundreds of wartime photos of He 162s, Ju 287s, Me 163s, Me 263s and lesser known experimental types. There are many books on these types and they are crammed full of photos, virtually all of which were taken by Luftwaffe crews and ground personnel. Get someone to show you how to research using Google and you soon find out what I am talking about. But a word of caution: do not use an exclamation mark at the end of every word, phrase or sentence you enter into the Google search block or you will jam it up.
