This pictures are from the books "Brabant Bevrijd" en " De bevrijding van Eindhoven. The jagdpanthers is from Schw. Pz. Jag. Abt 559. This unit fought in Geel.

This picture is taken on the 17th of september 1944 on the market place of Geel. You can see the planes in the air with airborne troops

I have been to Geel quite a few times on business, but I never knew that there had been a battle during ww2 there...thanks for showing the pics ... Cheers, Torsten.
