    Gauleiter Mutschmann signatures, value ?

    Hi all,

    I have two condolence letters for the family of a fallen soldier. Both letters are hand signed by Martin Mutschmann.
    I wanted to sell them but I cannot judge there value.
    Can anybody help me please ?

                Hi,
                The first document appears to be an appointment of a teacher, while the second is a condolence letter. It's difficult to give precise values for items like these. Very generally, in my experience, I have seen Mutschmann docs with generic content go for 100-200 Eur, but that's just ballpark. He is one of the better known Gauleiters, but is also not the scarcest. Hope that helps a bit.

                    Very nice examples- thanks for sharing them. The second, a letter of condolence, is particularly interesting- he writes of the "Weltfeinde Juda" (World Enemy, Judaism); Mutschmann was one of the more pronounced anti-semites among the Gauleiter, chiding Himmler in a Summer 1944 letter for the fact that there were still reportedly some Jews left in France (Himmler response was along the lines of True, but we're making great progress with the Hungarian Jews).
