hi all,
i have this postcard i recently accquired.it is dated 1934 and has the inside title of reichpostministerium berlin.it is a message written in english to someone in venezeula wishing good relations between them and germany in 1934.also signed by sender.it`s a really good quality card with an old embroidered picture on front of some knight/devil etc.

is this a common type card.?
where hs it came from?
is it a goverment card.?

really interested to find out.

It's basically a holiday greeting card from the head of the Post Office in Germany. Your was probably to the head of the Post Office in Venezuela and similar ones would have been sent to other post office heads around the world as well as to other German ministries. I am sure it is very collectible to philatelists.

The illustration is a very famous one in Germany at the time - the title is at the bottom of it. You will find plenty of info on internet about it and the artist - I am sure.
