Neat to see the brewed up M3 in I think pic 65. One does not often see pics of leand lease vechs.

24 is also neat as you can actully tell he has the west wall ribbon and the the KVK-II

Great slideshow, appreciate the link. The vastness of Russia and the day to day human struggle the German soldier faced are emphasized by the variety of pictures shown. The one picture of hardened troops staging left of the smashed factory wall is indicative of how realistic and rare this group of photos are. Excellent.

Actually the bigger part of the photos are taken from Eastern Ukraine around Harkov area and only the last portion is from Stalingrad.
