Born 1922
Knight cross: 1942, when he was 20 years old.

Very nice. note the "1" on his shoulder straps since Zingel originally belonged to SS T Inf. Rgt. 1 (Oberbayern ??) .
His EK2, EK1 document as well as his RK preliminary document signed by Gen.Major Schmundt were displayed in the French Militaria magazine in 1985. A killer group (EK2 and EK1 are signed by Ogruf. Eicke) and 2 private photos were also shown.

SSTK Rollcall

Does anybody know how to find a rollcall list of soldiers in the 1937 SSTK Oberbayern division? My grandfather was in that division/regiment and I'd like to see if he remembers any names.
