I am not sure what this is or what it says. My guess is that it is an Opera ticket. I think the top says the Commander of German Troops in Transition. What is that? Is this some type of pass/reward? Any help on this would be appreciated especially as to what Eintrittskarte means. The date looks like 1844 but it must be 1944. Thanks, Richard

Military Opera Ticket?

I have searched and found out that the Odessa Opera House is in the Ukraine. It is considered the second best in Europe. It apparently was occupied by the Germans in WWII and Krustchev (sic) attended soon after its "liberation". So I am guessing this was a opera ticket to boost morale.Attached Files
