writing in a Mein Kampf 1940

Hello, someone gave me this Mein kampf today, for free
On the inside there is something written, i can't make out much more then Kriegsjahre 1940 (the book itself is also dated 1940).
    Thanks in advance

I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Guaranteed not to help much, but I see:
    Dem
    Pg(?) Johann, (X), (X),
    im Kriegsjahre 1940 kameradschaftlich
    uberliegend(?)

    G..., den 10. September 1940

    X Salzmann
    Kreisleiter Ortsgruppenleiter

    Hope it helps a bit,
    Hank

      Hi,
      I will also try it:

      Dem

Pg (Parteigenossen = NSDAP party member) Johann Berns, (Placename ? ),

      im Kriegsjahr 1940 kameradschaftlich

      übereignet.

      Placename (?), den 10. September 1940

      ...... Kreisleiter

      Salzmann, Ortsgruppenleiter

Sorry, but the name of the Kreisleiter and the name of the town (placename) I cannot identify.

His last name looks more like Birns to me, as there would be no reason for a dot on top of an "e" ?

The place name should be Goch, as Salzmann was the Ortsgruppenleiter there. The first sig is unknown to me as well, but could be identified through the place name?

          Hi Tim,

I think you are right. I agree with "Goch". but with "Birns" I have some

          problems:

in the recent German phonebook you will not fine o n e Birns entry.

But if you look to find in the town "Goch" the "Berns" entries you will find 13 entries with this name only for Goch.

The name of the Kreisleiter in 1940 the local historians should know.
