Signal Corps: lemon yellow

Motorized infantry: white

Motorized pioneer: black

Jäger and Mountainjäger: medium green

Schützen and Kradschützen: Light green

Hi thanks for giving the different flag colors. Yes the flag in question must've been for a motorized infantry battalion.

The most interesting on this portrait is the visorcap. It seems to be a regular type of Luftwaffe enlisted ranks cap by the ribbed cap band, the brim
along the visor and a rather thick piping (Information from Wilhelm Saris).
