I cannot even read the handwriting!!

Thanks Hank and Gerden...I just have to make a logical translation from that into English now.Does this basicaly say that his comrades have sent him a copy of the regimental chronical?

Yea, I also think that the writer has sent a copy of the regimental chronical to that guy.
