Thanks for sharing this wonderful pic with us, Ralf.
It is interesting to note the "retouched" collar patches of Witt. The photo was seemingly taken when he was a KC holder (see the doctored EL) and as a Ostubaf. : you can clearly see at the bottom of his left (right for us) collar patch the edge of a vertical rank strip.
PS : any chance to see Hpstuf. RKT Fenet in uniform ?
      Regards
      Denis

          Henri Fenet RKT

Hi Denis, the only uniform photograph of Henri Fenet I have seen is in the excellent book "Die Ritterkreuztrager Der Waffen-SS" by Ernst Gunther Kratschmer, otherwise it is the usual head and shoulders photo which he used to send out to collectors which usually shows up.
          Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

            Hello
            Thanks Ralf and Richard.
As Richard said, I also only know 2 wartime photo of Fenet, one in mantel when he was an officer candidate during a permission in Paris (shown with a mantel and an overseas cap) and another one where you can only see his collar (without any insignia) and hatless. I would really love to see a new one with his full uniform.
            Regards
            Denis

                Hi!

Did he have a brother in Kriegsmarine named Hugo Hinz?
I got an urkunde with his name on it.

                /Stefan
