i need your help.
the following pics shows me an unknown rk-holder in a pow-camp in canada/ottawa - august 1944.
has someone an idea on it ?

For the moment I don't know but we can suppose that he was made prisoner while being in Africa or in France. The guy is seemingly a NCO (Tresse on the collar). The ceremony would be devoted to bury a German POW (see the flag).
Would you have other photos of the same ceremony ? Even If they don't show this guy, they might be useful to give us more information.

I try to perform a search among all KC holders following the above criteria :
- KC holders belonging to the Heer
AND - KC holders between the rankof Uffz. and Stfw.
AND - Still alive at the end of the war (assumption)
AND - KC recipients being awarded the KC before 01/09/44
Unfortunately, I have a "short" list of 392 names !!
I am afraid that I won't be able to give you the relevant info unless we have more hints.
