Wanted: SS Colour Piped Cap Pics

Wrong forum I know but please don't delete. From experience, I know not that many people check out the wanted thread on the e-stand.

Guys, I'm looking to buy or just see some original snaps of any photos you have that show SS soldiers with colored piping on their visor caps. Please check your collections and have a look for any that are obviously not white piped.

I'm especially keen to purchase/see any pics of a WSS Pz NCO with a pink piped cap. I know it's difficult to tell white from pink in a b&w photo but please let's see what you have anyway.

The guys on the headgear forum will be shaking their heads now because I've become obsessed about this area of collecting. For those who don't ever venture over there, this is the reason why I'm asking.

Original pink piped nco cap just aquired:

Original KZ piped nco cap. Now sold unfortunatley.

Just to get the ball rolling, here's a pics of a very tall WSS Officer surrendering near the river Elbe in 45. A little while after the official wear out date for coloured piped caps!!

    Thanks
    Ben

I posted this photograph a couple of weeks ago on the SS Uniforms and Insignia Forum. Another forum member bought it from a well known dealer:

But wait, the top dark piping is one thing but the two central pipings are lighter in colour, Anymore info on this photo? it's very, very rare!

Hi Ben, I have tried to zoom in on the piping around the cap band. I am not sure that it is different? Does look like a Heer cap eagle though? In fact pics 2, 4 and 7 all show Heer eagles.

                      Cheers, Ade.

Hi Ade, heer eagles on SS caps was quite comomon practice, no problem there. Why the different coloured piping on the same cap though?

I just missed out on the photo by a few minutes. To the best of my knowledge there is nothing written on the back of it and no further information is known about the soldier. The photo was very reasonably priced for showing such a rare piece of SS headgear.
