German Liner launching questiion..

Was wondering if anyone knows the name of this German Liner? Can read DER on the side but can't make out the rest. Would seem as someone of importance is there as everyone is saluting the podium. Thanks in advance. Mike

Well it does not look like a Launching as the ship in question is at a quay and not a slip, and it is full of people and it is dressed overall.

Looks more like one of the boats that retruned from the Spanish Cival War or alike??.
