Help with translating Bodenbach postcard

I was hoping a member would help translate this postcard or be able to identify this building in Bodenbach. It's decked out in flags with a portrait of Hitler hanging, not sure why?

The stamp on the card says it is the Bodenbach Brewery. This town is now in the Czech Republic I believe.

Bitte zu entschuldigen, da ich noch nicht geantwortet habe.

Wir hatten jetzt die ganze Zeit vor der Ergänzungswahl als polit(ische) Leiter

sehr viel Arbeit. Schreibe Dir diese Woche noch einen Brief.

Hoffe, daß Dir diese Ansicht noch bekannt sein wird.

The Ergänzungswahlen - supplemantary elections - could have been held the 4

Dec 1938 after Hitler had incorporated Czechoslovakia in the German Reich.

These elections were held to give these people also a chace to bring members

in the Geman parliament Reichstag to be represented there.

The postcard should be written 1938.

Gerdan & JHodgson, thank you both. Gerdan your are correct about the year, its franked 12/10/38 or 12/11/38. Can you read the name, its addressed to someone in the IR90 Hamburg. I actually think I know who the man who might have been the recipient but not his name. Sometime ago I bought a lot of photographs seemingly owned by one soldier, who appeared in many of them. I think this postcard got separated.
