I only have one other photo on Leonar paper and this new photo doesn't match the paper (also checked photosammler.de's website). This new photo's paper is postcard thick but is not a postcard nor is it postcard sized. There are no indications on the back to indicate that it was a postcard and that it was cut to size (ie, regular postcard lines on the back).
I'm stumped. Did Leonar print their name this blurry? Did they print on this kind of thick paper? Is this photo questionable?
I show the reverse of the photo and it didn't scan well so I've adjusted it so the maker marks show well. On the right of the image I've magnified the different times 'Leonar' shows up and I've shown a corner of the obverse....note, no scalloping but it has a border. The paper itself is in perfect condition and only has the slightest of yellow tinting. It does not glow under UV.
thanks,
Tony
