    WW2 German Stamps

I have been asked by a friend who dosen't use the internet if there are any resources available for WW2 german stamps?

He has started picking up a few and interested if there is any books or even anything I can print off the internet about these for him.

I must admit I have also found them a little interesting, they don't cost a lot and there seems to be an endless variety available,

I tried searching the forum but couldn't find much on these.

    thank you

There are endless numbers of associations, clubs and dealers who specialize in WW II German stamps. I did a 10-minute search on Google and found scores and scores of them. The premier association for the use of Third Reich stamps within the Wehrmacht and between the German civil population and the Wehrmacht is the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutsche Feldpost 1939-1945 e.V. They have a web site at: http://www.deutsche-feldpost.com/index.html . This organization publishes a bulletin (Rundbrief) 3 times a year that can be subscribed to. I had some copies of it that were given to me back in the late 'eighties and found it to be a very interesting little magazine full of articles about the hundreds and hundreds of different WW II era German stamps.

Ebay has an entire section that deals with just WW II German stamps. The internet is filled to overflowing with information on the subject. Get busy on Google and you will find everything you need. Your friend does read German, doesn't he?

My friend is interested in an album like this, where from the pictures it appears you match up the stamps to the pictures in the albums,

        http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....5818&rd=1&rd=1

However I have spent a few hours this afternoon trying to find albums like this
Does anyone know anything about these?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Charles, there is a company called SAFE that manufactures excellent quality stamp albums with pictures of the stamps to be inserted in their archival sleeves on each page of the album. Try this link and see if it provides what he is looking for http://www.safepub.com/
