Most likely the photo is made in area Dubno(Ukraine 1941)

But here(http://www.ww2.dk/air/jagd/jg53.htm) it is spoken that

Isn't that WH on the number plate rather than WL?

Other units used the 'spade' as it's symbol.

It seems to me there it is written -"WL".

Sign on a JG53 not simply Pik As and Pik As in a rhombus.
Also as in a photo.
