              Well the Welbike is pretty much different on the pictures I posted and the ones ont that site : http://www.alliedspecialforces.org/soewelbike.htm

              Look at the tires and the handle of the bike. It looks much smaller on the first picture I posted.

                    Nick is correct the bike is Italian.

                    Hi Sven, the bike you show in post number 8 is a post war "Corgi". These were made by the same company as the "Welbike" but these were never used by the Army. The Royal Navy had one is it alledged. Despite this many good museums have them on display painted green. I often see them at military vehicle rallies here in the UK too. A pet hate of mine.

                    The wartime "Welbike" shown in the link in post 6 is owned by a forum member and friend of mine.
